It's not that I forgot about this blog or that I got disinterested. Just a lot has been going on. To start at the most important thing, my pain, fibromyalgia, has gotten worse lately. My flare-ups are becoming much more common and worse each time. Yesterday, I had a flare so bad I wasn't able to lift my head up for long. Luckily I am on meds and I found a way to deal with my two kinds of flares. (CBD cream and bath salts, tea, advil, prescription meds and rest) It doesn't make it go away though, just brings the pain down to around a 5/6 so I can keep functioning more or less.
Another big change lately is work. I don't think I've ever said before but I work in retail - not the most glamourous of jobs. But it pays the bills and then some (for books!). But I've been getting more hours lately because I'm in training for ASM (assisstant store manager) and while I did apply and am excited it is definitely eating up my free time. Not to mention, the more I work without much downtime the more sore I get, the more sore I get the more risk of a flare. I worked over 33 hours last week and although that doesn't sound like much maybe to some, I'm used to only 20 max a week. Combined with mostly stocking shelves and moving things around and running all over the store trying to jugle all the manager stuff. I'm exhausted and taking rest anywhere I can, which means I'm not reading as much or have time to write here. Let alone read enough to write reviews ugh.
The next thing hindering my content is funnily enough my autism. Now before you jump on me and are like "but autistic people can do anything!" yeah yeah I know it's not in that way. I just unearthed a special interest and have dove headfirst trying to learn everything. What's that special interest you may be asking? FNAF. I know I know its old and its weird. But the lore is so fasinating. I've watched a lot of videos, bought a lot of books, hell my boyfriend even bought me a shirt with one of the characters on it.
On top of all this, I turned 22! I hope this year brings lots of good into my life and I'm thankful for all I got to do this year.
Thank you all for being patient, I have a few drafts that need editing but it shouldn't be so long until the next post! See you soon :)
